Mr. Finn’s Ice Cream Shoppe was founded in 2013 with one main goal – to make and serve the highest quality ice cream in Columbia County, with an old-fashioned twist.

Mr. Finn’s is the creation of a mother and daughter team, Christine D’Agostino and Christine Ransom, and is operated by the D’Agostino/Ransom family. “The Christines” were inspired by the ice cream parlors and soda fountains that Christine D. grew up with in the 1950s. The shop’s namesake, Mr. Finn, was the family’s beloved cat for many years. To honor his memory, a portion of proceeds from the “Mr. Finn Sundae” will be donated to local animal welfare organizations.

From the ice cream to the cones to the whipped cream, just about every product at Mr. Finn’s is scratch-made using family recipes. Our “Farm-to-Scoop” pledge promises that we source the majority of our ingredients from local farms.

Mr. Finn’s is located on the village green in Kinderhook, New York. We are a one-of-a-kind destination for any celebration, large or small. At Mr. Finn’s, we promise to turn the everyday into a special occasion!
